Qalam Academy is a Islamic school currently under development, with plans to launch in Forsyth County, located in North Georgia, for the 2027-2028 school year. Our mission is to provide a high quality, Quran and Sunnah based education that nurtures academic excellence, strong Islamic character, leadership, and lifelong learning.

Although our main goal is to build a school for Muslim families in North Georgia who desire an educational environment where their children can grow into confident Muslims and responsible global citizens, everyone is welcome regardless of their race, culture and faith.

Our unique approach is built upon five foundational pillars:

Personalized Education: Moving away from a "one size fits all" model to support individual student needs.

Faith Integrated Learning: Islamic teachings are woven throughout the student's daily interactions along with their academics.

Leadership at a Young Age: Developing the skills and confidence for students to lead in an ethical and Prophetic manner.

Preparing every child for the future: Through a supportive and engaging learning environment we strive to develop compassionate, capable, and responsible individuals.

Strong Parent School Partnership: We believe that building a community together is key to a child's success.

Absolutely. One of our core goals is to show that families do not have to choose between academic excellence and an Islamic foundation. We are committed to high academic standards, critical thinking, and creativity, while ensuring our students remain deeply grounded in their faith.

Our culture is rooted in values such as Faith, Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Compassion, Leadership, Service, Collaboration, Innovation, Brotherhood/Sisterhood, Justice, Trust, Transparency, and Accountability.

We focus on what these values look like in the daily life of a child.

Yes! A school is not built by one person; it takes a community. We are currently inviting families, volunteers, ambassadors, and business partners to join our Funding Community.

We are currently welcoming donations through our Zelle account ([email protected]), and we are looking for families and companies that would like to join our Founding Donors wall.

Please contact us at [email protected] for more information.
